What would happen without precipitation?

All our crops would die out as they need rain to grow. Lakes/rivers etc will dry up. Animals will die because they also need water to live. Eventually we would die as well because we need plants and animals to eat and water to drink. Every living thing would become extinct. Also evaporation will stop working since there will be no water.

Keep living things alive and keep evaporation working.

What would happen without evaporation?

The  world would get flooded as nothing is going up. We wouldn’t be able to hang our washing. Our crops would die because too much water is in the soil. The whole water cycle would stop working because if nothing is coming up, there’s nothing to condense and if the condensation stops working so does the precipitation.

So it’s function is to stop flooding and keep condensation working.

What would happen without condensation?

When the water vapour is going up it will get colder. The water will freeze and turn into ice. As the ice is heavy it will drop onto earth. Also precipitation will stop working.

So it’s function is to keep rain coming and keep earth safe.
