Creative Writing

We have been reading a pretty funny book called Demon Dentist, by David Walliams. We have found ways to tie it in with our inquiry, but we have also been inspired to write some of our own 'funny and imaginative' stuff. 

In the book, the main character comes up with a whole list of excuses - ranging from quite boring, normal ones to some extremely far-fetched and funny ones - as to why he couldn't go to the dentist.

Here are just a few of the examples from Room 5, as we were challenged to come delve into our imaginations and write our own excuses for why we weren't at school, instead of not going to the dentist.
