Cookies turned into Pikelets

We decided to do a baking challenge and we bought a cookie mix from Countdown. Once we were reading the instructions on the box, we realized we were out of eggs. But we made do with what we had. Instead of adding an egg, we added milk. We wanted to check if the recipe would still work. We put the cookie batter, butter and milk into a big bowl and mixed it until it was nice and creamy. 

We also didn’t have baking paper so instead of baking it in the oven, we pan fried it on our Korean grill. 

We didn’t end up with chocolate chip cookies but we got mini chocolate chip pikelets. We decorated them with bananas, whipped cream and frozen fruit. They tasted really yummy. We got to invent a new recipe.
